Sir, Madam You HAF SANK MY BATTLESHIP

My Baby Beached and Fugged, eeek the picture makes it look totalled, I am NOT SMILING NOW.
The MISSING BUNG located luckily by my camera.

Though seriously My recent Saturday Sailing turned into the Titanic meets McGuyver, with an Epic Flooding followed by repair work whilst moving that should have been filmed for Style alone

But let me head back to this early afternoon, when the Saturday Staff casually informed me they had never rigged the Challenger Trimaran Before, OK says I and we work through it, until it looks ship shape and they seem confident enough to launch me and so I am out on open water, circling an Ignored girl who had capsized and thus was awaiting somebodies attention for a rescue, when suddenly

My Butt and Feet are suddenly wet, yes HANDS UP who forgot the main BUNG, and to top it all, I start to steer towards the Slipway and the Rudder Rope breaks, so now no steering either, this is the Mcguyver bit as I steadily turned and inched my way across the stern to make up a new Rudder Rope using bits of gained strands of rope, I achieved this despite the back raging and me getting wetter with my Boat sinking further towards the rear

I was eventually rescued, by the Powerboat which promptly topped up my wetness with a wake that covered my sinking vessel and myself in more lake, almost as though we needed some more

Promptly then the boat plus me was hauled onto the jetty, which given the combined weight of the aforementioned created a lovely HOLE in the flotation on the left hand side and surely must have damaged main section and right hand flotation, Ho hum etc

anyway to finish off everything once I have had to 'hop' across the flotation to locate Dry Land thus popping my back in a strange and uncomfortable manner, was the slamming of my car door onto My most favorite of sprung walking sticks, creating a lovely Bend which means it does not fold down any more

All in all a day in which I should have stayed in bed

My favorite boat to sail is now not well, My stick is currently 4 inches shorter as I had to cut out the bent section, my trousers have only JUST dried and what should have been relaxing was in truth quite stressful

Still!!!!!!Onwards and Upwards, though nearly Downwards and very wet

Next Update as an when

New Course, am I mad or just going for it

Here is a 'borrowed' picture of a baby Badger and Fox, it just took my eye so I hope I have not broken copyright laws etc, but this is too cute to be missed, it also brings me to mind that it will soon be time to head back to watch badgers at TEWIN ORCHARD, I cannot wait.

Well just because it is cool he is a cheeky furry little creature from the other day that I just managed to capture with the camera

Well sat here the other day reflecting on the fact it is but five weeks worth of Intermediate German left before thats it, done and dusted and then it will be the German G.C.S.E. which is honestly very daunting but I have to believe very do-able.

And so what did I also do, well I signed up for the OU Languages Course too, hey might as well go for another degree, take One degree into the shower, NO not me try Two for size!

Anyway thats is where we are, I.T.Q. still proceeding, a small break from German at college because of the half term, and finally the Maths I am still waiting to hear about BUT hopefully it is ok.

No Garden project as of yet, weather and finances have stopped it fully sadly.

And Sailing is booked for Wednesday, but again dependent upon the weather

So that is all for now, next update should be the TMA 02 results

Till then then.

ITQ WORD complete

Something Pretty just because I can.

Well today saw the Word assignments I completed accessed and the results were happy slightly impressed people who gave me a thumbs up and as such I moved straight on to Spreadsheets, which so far look easy and more than something I can handle

And with the two phases to go and this course being complete I would like to believe I can achieve the whole thing by latest September well under the allowed 12 Months

Here is hoping and that should be another Certificate to add which will be cool

also of note German tonight saw us discussing past tense which seriously hurt my brain but I achieved some of it, I do have slight nagging doubts about Me doing a G.C.S.E. in this subject, but i shall not give up on it yet, maybe if I devote some quality time to it I may yet surprise myself

Other updates : One submitted TMA 02 went off in the post yesterday, fingers crossed it does me proud, it took a lot out of me mentally to complete it

The Garden Project got a look albeit a brief one today, with a clear out of a few bushes to allow for slabbing to take place up to the fence line, slowly slowly catchy monkey and likewise that approach shall be applied to this garden if I am to get it correct

And that is it all for another day, pretty much the education is now ticking by, with me a little bit more settled back into utilising my brain and actually achieving something

Tomorrow brings me sailing in the afternoon and thus I am happy

Downer the demise of my laptop

My Lappy gone!
Shuffled off to tech heaven till advent repair it

R.I.P. Video Chip on the motherboard, your time came and went, as did you.

And so that occurred last night, fine one minute, not so fine the next, barely two months old and dead, such excellent build quality these days.

O.k. well just about to look and see if my last CMA results are through and will update as I know.

Today brought forth more sailing and I had the entire lake to myself, life is really despite the continuous back pain NOT so bad.

Sailing

Well slightly late bring this up to speed, however last Saturday i was happily sat in a boat (called i have been informed A TOPPER) (disabled friendly) sailing my heart out across Stevenage (Fairlands) lakes

Stunningly brilliant in every way, the calm of it all, punctuated by the thrill of when the wind caught the sail and off i went with Boat leaning over, back to annoyed ducks quacking me off of their piece of water then flying away when i refused to leave

seriously why is not everybody sailing and actually i am glad they are not as there would be very little space on the lakes if they did

Roll on Sat the 24Th as that's the next time I'm out on the water

Also going to see what qualifications they have in sailing, who knows where this might lead?
