Updated TMA scores

Yes my final score is in from Rundblicks and I am pleased to have obtained 49%, which for the last and most difficult TMA is imo very good, so I am happy.

Now I just have to get minimal 40% in the final exam on the 30th (after submission of the reading and written components a week before) and I shall have passed the first year languages with some honor.

Other news is I have just paid for a search to see if I can get my former City & Guilds certification back after it was stolen, fingers crossed they can find my records and thus returned to me shall be what is mine and duly earned.

As per usual onwards and upwards

TMA 05 rundblinks submitted thankfully

Fat guy on a pony, or rather yes me and that poor pony carry my size, lovely jaunt across the new forest though.

Cerne Giant as viewed by my eye's and naturally the Camera!!

One of the wee beasties from Brownsea Island, stunning place and great to see Squirrel Nutkins

Well caught up and finally submitted the latest TMA, so pretty much a very happy bunny

Other news is I am hoping to do a Sign Language Course in September provided I can afford it

And that is it, as soon as results come in I shall place them up to keep the record going

Other non educational news is I had a great weeks holiday down in beautiful Dorset, Hampshire and naturally on the Isle of Wight, seven days of sun, punctuated by pony trekking, great scenery and sandy beaches to chill out on

Life could not have been sweeter, now onwards and back upwards

Result for last maths

53%

which considering the headache it gave me is by what I expected to get a huge achievement

So I am happy

My next mission is to complete the next Maths T.M.A., however with the builders in plus the room I study in in total chaos I am concerned as I already have missed out on a vast amount of study time for this due to having to run around fixing all the terrible pieces of work the builders have done to date.

Still onwards and upwards, because frankly I have nowhere else to go. This year it seems has not been productive towards my education so far

But I expect, no I demand that changes and very soon.

Struggling honestly I am and tragedy in the balkans imo

We aided these Terrorist Muslims and now they own a country they have NO claim to, over Christian Serbs who do

Terrible betrayal and a terrible day for the free west, we should be ashamed aiding in the Jihad to spread Islam globally. Independent Kosovo...never ever in my name

Well first official TMA submitted for my MST121 Maths

and honestly I got question 1 (algebra) and 2 (Maths cad work) but three left me feeling stupid, I get sequences and I get alot of what was contained in the unit, however the unit book simply did not have enough in for me to feel even remotely confident about what I submitted

I have it seems a problem with the last part, but I can ill afford to spend any more time or brain cells on it as I have to yet again keep up with the German (both GCSE and Uni) and the PD course is due soon too

Seems my tutor will have to spend some time explaining and I guess that is what they are assigned for

onwards and though a little beat up but my inability to grasp this section, upwards still

ps Independent Kosovo.....Not in my name will I have a violent once terroristic group of Muslims handed a country for nothing but their ability to out breed those in it

even the blind can see that having an ethnic Albanian group in Kosovo does not give them the right to run any country unless it is Albania, but yet the dhimmi's in the west still think it is ok to aid the Muslims in Europe to fulfill their Islamification of the world quest

Tragic and poor Kosovo with it historic and cultural Serb (Christian) heritage all being wiped out fully now by these Invaders

What a terrible day for us all, and one I fear we shall all pay for in our own lands

Hoorah A TUTOR boooo resides in Cambridge so no tutorials for me from her

NU and with any luck the OLD LABOUR party are dead, or at the very least on its last legs thankfully, roll over you sick diseased pile of worthless scum and allow the country to regain its dignity with a brand new pro English Conservative Government

Hopefully soon we will again be proud to be English then British!

Yup finally after some anxiety I have been assigned a tutor, sadly my Tutorials will now have to be in Bishops Stortford with a different tutor as mine is simply too far away to attend.

Oh well I guess they teach the same Course MST121 so it must be similar tuition.

No other news beyond I am about to finally submit my T.M.A. for this course, plus I am slowly learning Math Cad which seems initially to be user friendly.

Updates as and when......................

Latest Rundblicks TMA result

Our Arthur and the Lady of the lake, such is the valuable myths and legends of our islands, such is part of what is at stake and what then must be defended against all threats

such is the reason to war if need be.

82% for my last T.M.A. which is great with me, some silly errors towards the end of the submission, but I lay that at a tired pressurised brain, more than lack of knowledge in the language.

Am I happy...Yes I am.

The next one will be a higher score, back to near the 90 odd percent of last time, that much I will aim for.

No other news to date so onwards and still upwards...till next time then

Submitted Maths MST121 CMA 51

Where is the Churchill of our time? To see us back on track to being Great again? All we have is cowards, deceivers and thieves in power these days sadly.

Well that is the first CMA for this maths submitted, this CMA does not count towards the end result, but I have still given it my very best shot and I fingers crossed believe I did not do too badly.

Next submission is the TMA, to which I have after reading ahead realise is going to be

1) time consuming
2) brain straining as it is complex (to me at least)

However I shall do it and submit it within time (all due in for the 30th of this month and the TMA has to be sent)

Two days now and the web site inclusive of my tutors details and tutorials will become available online, I cannot wait to actually begin this in earnest.

Other news is I am also playing catch up on German GCSE homework, plus Rundblicks (in time for the next online which is the 17th) again I am pacing myself with a view to completion of these tasks within a reasonable time frame, I can only do what I can do period.

Onwards and upwards hopefully.

NOCN Intermediate Certificate in Personal Development

A traditional Father Christmas, thankfully devoid of the Coca-cola added colour. Making it a real Christmas!

Yes today I attended the initial meeting and thus signed up for this course, parting with £25 as I did

It looks like something worthwhile and will make a good edition to my C.V. so I consider it a must have really and thus I shall attempt to attain

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Maths M.S.T.121, Well now I also finally sat down and looked at the relevant parts sent to me recently.....I believe I shall devote next tuesday evening to exploring it fully with a view to making the initial start towards the first T.M.A. and C.M.A
This must be scheduled properly as I have the Youngest Daughter returning home from Uni as well so studying space is thus limited but I must forge on as I have more than these to hand in in January 2008

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rundblicks must also take priority over some other events, after checking the calender I am one thema behind and again have submissions for January

it is time To organize and prioritize I think, I shall naturally get my Birthday out of the way before I start

onwards and despite January now being busy study wise....Upwards

P.s. I have just found out upon completion of my German certificate at the O.U. I can officially add letters to after my Name, thus I shall be blah blah CGO

How brilliant that made me feel I cannot seriously describe, however it is a nice potential future I feel

Results oh yeah

One year on I am tired, fatter (slightly thanks to quitting the cigarettes) healthier (see across) and honestly a lot happier with my self made lot than I was previously

2007 has been a good year, I have seen much of great beauty and experienced a great many things most will never even try, and I believe in it I have grown as a person as a soul, to 2008 and beyond I look forward now, for a first time in a long time...........

Santa Claus is coming to town, bringing guns and shooting you down.....Futurama Santa, now there's a story for the kids

My little man is as well as he is ever going to be thanks be to god and a decent vet.

MU120 final result A PASS : 73%

Which given everything inclusive of the huge gap in my maths education is simply brilliant and I am incredibly happy with it as a result
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rundblicks German T.M.A. result : 93%

First T.M.A. and a great result overall again very very pleased

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update on Sweep

Vets today and he is as healthy as he ever has been, possible correction of the head tilt over a longer time, or worse case no correction now at all.

Whatever he is a well dog who has already adapted to this disability and he is loved and should thus have the best possible life despite his head tilt.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Onwards and upwards as we speed towards my Birthday unchecked and seemingly finally making progress in my life personally at last.

What a simply great year this has been, yes health wise I could even cite now the degree of pain in my legs slowly fatiguing me beyond a point of exhaustion as being of concern, however I cannot complain or demand any more of the health service, they have utterly failed in their care of duty towards me and I shall rather endure the pain than be for one second longer a practice guinea pig for their inept ways.

Thus 2008 looms over the horizon but getting bigger every day, and it promises to be a great year, possibly as great as this one, I finally look forward, tinged with my usual pessimism because I await some other trial for me and mine to face.

All currently though is calm and for that I thank God.

C.M.A. plus Spreadsheets

Taaaaaaa Daaaaaaaaaaa the beautiful Great tit, cue jokes .............................Now!

Anyway recently submitted C.M.A. 43 though I openly confess I have my doubts about this one as I found Linear Models plus their equations quite difficult to get into my head, anyway it is done and I can now throw all into T.M.A. 03 and hopefully I will get that done soon as well

Other news is Assignments 1 & 2 of the Spreadsheet component of I.T.Q. is now done thankfully, just have to await the results again hopefully some time very soon

And I have just found out I also have to produce a Project, consisting of Four components made up from either Word, Spreadsheets or Data bases and relevant to something in my life, also each component must be minimum 2 A4 sheets long, I think its achievable

and that is it, update completed for today

as and when new news arrives so it shall appear here

New Course, am I mad or just going for it

Here is a 'borrowed' picture of a baby Badger and Fox, it just took my eye so I hope I have not broken copyright laws etc, but this is too cute to be missed, it also brings me to mind that it will soon be time to head back to watch badgers at TEWIN ORCHARD, I cannot wait.

Well just because it is cool he is a cheeky furry little creature from the other day that I just managed to capture with the camera

Well sat here the other day reflecting on the fact it is but five weeks worth of Intermediate German left before thats it, done and dusted and then it will be the German G.C.S.E. which is honestly very daunting but I have to believe very do-able.

And so what did I also do, well I signed up for the OU Languages Course too, hey might as well go for another degree, take One degree into the shower, NO not me try Two for size!

Anyway thats is where we are, I.T.Q. still proceeding, a small break from German at college because of the half term, and finally the Maths I am still waiting to hear about BUT hopefully it is ok.

No Garden project as of yet, weather and finances have stopped it fully sadly.

And Sailing is booked for Wednesday, but again dependent upon the weather

So that is all for now, next update should be the TMA 02 results

Till then then.

CMA Results, ITQ, German and Geese and my Surname's basis

Well say hello to the Heron,
and of course a huge hello to the new life of a Canadian goose.

Well results are in for my CMA 42, I scored 72%, which is fairly good, and I am happy with it

I passed it which is everything

and Today I also blocked in 2 hours of ITQ and followed straight after with 2 hours of German, which dealt with PAST TENSE

Ich war........etc

But excellent on everything, no faults with today

and onwards and upwards, now got to devote to TMA 02 for May 31st (before if possible) and brush up the Deutsch just a bit

also have college tomorrow as Maths tutorial occurring

update as and when

Latest TMA result in

Well i did not do as bad as i thought i would (given i was slightly worried about this latest one as it included written explanations which i am not great at)

so far then i have for the course an 87%, inclusive of the previous results and this one

and thats great as far as i can tell, the Tutor is seemingly over the moon at what i have achieved and this i am happy too

onwards etc..........

Thursday, 8 March 2007

Phew

Well just as you think you are simply not going to get your head round whats needed and thus not be able to submit the TMA part deux that is being asked for, one single solitary night at the college listening to the Tutor gets your head kicking your brain awake

as such just a small piece of writing to be done and my second part TMA is complete and ready to go (most importantly the maths part is done thankfully)

phew then it is, i for a small while had some serious doubts

Saturday, 17 February 2007

Up to date

Well the German course has been on holiday for 'half term' which has meant alot of 'home German', quite difficult when nobody here speaks it and i have to attempt it myself with a person to tell me if i am making the correct sounds as i try, so in short i have missed my single evening at college

anyway moving on, TMA 01 PART 1 has been submitted, though maybe i should have hung on (oh herald the self doubts)

and today i finally received my grade for the initial CMA 41 i submitted

all things considered, such as i never studied, never read anything and simply went ahead blind with nothing but hope and a prayer as i filled this CMA in and submitted it on line i honestly am very pleased with my simple 66%, it may not be the highest mark awarded, but hey people got less than me

Now i am studying for the other components because in theory if i can obtain 66% after an absence of 19 years from maths with no refresher in between, i should by rights score seriously high if i bring myself up to speed

at least thats the theory, so best see whether i can prove that to be correct (oh look the self doubt is now dancing alongside some self defeat, and bless here comes insecurity to give some vocals for them to dance to)

Seriously self belief is the hardest of all things, when for so long you've allowed it to diminish to nothing

anyway update as an when, maybe next German lesson

Wiedersehen
