Disbelief and My Sweep has gone before me

My Baby Sweep waits the other side of the gate between this world and the next. I will see you again My little Prince.

Yes I have completed the year of Rundblicks German, and sent off my written text and readied myself as best I can (explanations further on) for the Oral exam

I am not 100% confident in speaking German, at least I can create some sentences but I lack the whither all to go for it.

Thus no shock I am nervous but determined to give it my very best shot. Some horror then to find I can barely here my tutor because of a 'Hiss' in the background, but on I soldier grasping various bits and pieces to then form the correct sentences as a reply, such basics as name, address, hobbies I manage with a little difficulty through the 'Hiss'

Next though comes part two of the exam and I am now struggling to hear my tutor even begin it, so bad it gets I hear almost nothing and finally have to ask in German my tutor to be louder, three times I ask this, when all else failed I am shouting at the screen in English I cannot hear a word.

from then on in my concentration is shattered and my mind depletes of German very rapidly, needless to say part two of the exam is a distinct failure.

I have now written to the O.U. via their forms for such events to state my case, initially I was in shock now I just feel cheated.

Onwards to my event, My Sweepy passed away and it feels as though my heart was torn to pieces. The most awful experience in the world and already I miss him so very much.

to my Sweep I hope god cherishes you as much as we did.

Onwards, sadder, and maybe once my head is straight back upwards............maybe

Updated TMA scores

Yes my final score is in from Rundblicks and I am pleased to have obtained 49%, which for the last and most difficult TMA is imo very good, so I am happy.

Now I just have to get minimal 40% in the final exam on the 30th (after submission of the reading and written components a week before) and I shall have passed the first year languages with some honor.

Other news is I have just paid for a search to see if I can get my former City & Guilds certification back after it was stolen, fingers crossed they can find my records and thus returned to me shall be what is mine and duly earned.

As per usual onwards and upwards

Personal Development Certificate

It is hanging on my wall even as I type!!!

Yes arrived in the post today and very happy to have earned this.

Other news is I am now officially on holiday from all, well at least until the 30th September when I sit my final exam for Rundblicks, roll on till then then.

Updates as and when

Latest TMA result German Rundblicks

Isle Of Wight, simply a stunning place!!!!!!

Read it and understand if the situation was reversed we'd have bloodshed worldwide, instead all we have is bleeding heart Dhimmi Liberals still trying to convince us all Islam is the religion of peace! Ultimately it is clearly not!!!

66% AND yes very happy with that indeed, rushed as usual so pleased with the result

No other news beyond the Left wing Nu (Stalinist) Labour party have been extra busy ensuring 100% of my funding for all my courses has slowly been whittled away!!!

Even a course in Sign Language which I would love to do to aid other 'disabled' people now has NO FUNDING

Thanks Nu Labour, roll on election day when we in England can finally get our Conservatives back in!!!!!

Onwards and in Blue Upwards..............

79% German and a baby bird

New Life at this w0nderful time of year, yes say hello to one of the babies in my garden currently, we shall know him as Ernie, there is naturally another baby of this species and he'll be known as Eric, so it shall be!

Yes last result is in and it was 79% for my Rundblicks German course, and I have to state considering all the pressure and disruption at the time I am genuinely over the moon at this result I anticipated around the 40% mark given the (in my opinion) standard of work I submitted.

All then feels good, I am also just one exam away from completion of the German G.C.S.E. in which I also hope to have attained a reasonable mark.

Roll on August / September for that result.

As usual onwards and upwards though I must confess at a slightly (and again in my honest opinion) slower pace.

The importance of reflection

While we would all like to turn back time and change things past, I realise I cannot, so have to act now in the present to alter the future to my suiting!!!

Under Pressure I was, however despite all I followed some excellently sound advice and went away for the whole of Saturday, I went to the New Forest and whilst enjoying the Ponies, the Shetlands and their fouls and the four free range Donkeys who casually strolled into a village I had the chance to reflect.

And I am glad I did a few points I mulled and I finally came to the conclusion I had to change something.

The points mulled are as follows;

1) I have not still fully recovered physically from being so incredibly ill at Christmas (I feel so drained)

2) I have lost 1 month with my daughter home from Studying properly

3) I have lost 1 month (minimum) to illness

4) I have lost 1 and a half months with stupid inept council workers trashing my home under the banner of 'improving' it (thus adding to the stress prolonging my Illness)

5) I have at least 1 month to go of rebuilding my home from the aboves damage

Within this scenario I have to point out this is all time I should have been studying and studying hard, I currently am fully up to date with my Rundblicks German course having submitted my T.M.A.04 a few days prior. And I am ready to a point for the German G.C.S.E.

As such I have no worries at all about these language courses, shamefully I cannot say the same about MST121, to which I am now too far behind to play catch up!

As such tomorrow I will be asking the O.U. if I can 'interrupt' the study of this course to begin again hand in hand with MST221 in February (as it should be done) thus giving myself a fighting chance of taking on board the maths involved and thus actually 'beginning anew' as it should have been bar the above listed problems.

This I feel is the only way to :

a) Re-empower myself regards this subject.

b) Stop the decline of my health from the simply stress of playing catch up.

c) Stop any potential 'disheartened' feelings developing around the study I am currently committed to.

d) re-instate my study time table without interruption (the biggest problem I feel so far)

I naturally feel a bit dejected by having to choose this option, however situations really dictate I must follow this course of action to deliver the very best educationally and thus receive the grades reflecting this, with more importantly the actual Maths involved being learned by myself actually getting into this head of mine, something currently NOT happening.

Onwards and upwards with a slight pause then. Not the best outcome, but certainly the most sensible.

Under pressure and the worst of news

God Bless my Angels all, but especially Sweep today!!!!

Well let me start with what is important, and that is my Sweep dog being diagnosed with a heart problem that ultimately will shorten his life to about 1-2 years from now.

I am gutted to all ends I would sacrifice all to gain him the time he has just lost and yet I know nothing can change what is to come, tears and there were many are part of the grief and yet I still see him as a happy 'healthy' puppy despite all.

Now all I can do is continue to give him the love I have and hope when he gets to dog heaven he can remember being that loved, God bless him........because he above me deserves that blessing.

Onwards to the OTHER pressure, my workload for Uni and college has taken a massive hit with the denial of time and a place of sanctuary to study from in the form of Council workers (rather Subcontractors) charged with carrying out decent work to a decent level under the good homes scheme.

Needless to say they should be prosecuted under trades description for the shoddy half arsed jobs they have butchered into my home!! Three weeks now is SIX weeks and they still have not completed having to actually return to fix the abortions they have created initially.

If this is the standard of imported workmen and the cheapest native workmen then we need a serious rethink as I am certain trained chimps could have achieved better with less shit involved!!!!!!

Anyway ultimate ending is these labotomised fools have by virtue of denial of access to my books and my study area made me behind in study and submission of work! (thanks you cretins) As such I am yet again playing catch up.

However some light is today I managed to submit T.M.A.04 Rundblicks thankfully, this just leaves the Maths and GCSE work to catch up on.

Fingers crossed for those then, onwards and as always upwards..................

Rundblicks Result thank god

St George and the dragon, symbolic perhaps of the struggle of the Great British people against the tide of *vomit* socialist governance across Europe and in our own land which has inevitably lead to so much destruction of all that is unique and thus great in Britain

But like St George......................we will surmount and diminish our enemy, it begins next local election time....and it will not cease till all sycophantic spineless appeasing left wing dirt bags are removed from all walks of power

onwards to victory my brave Britons

Yes I feel despite the increasing difficulty surrounding the Maths, that I am still constant in my German, thus my latest Rundblicks result is 84%, meaning to date in this course I have scored a 93%, 82% and now 84%, I am naturally pleased given my lack of confidence in the speaking element.

onwards and upwards, I have no doubt my next Maths result will pale in comparison but at least I am trying which is everything imo.

Personal Development completed fingers crossed

We shall never surrender, poignant as Nu Labour denied us all democracy by way of a vote over Europe, but we are of sterner stuff than the weak lefties imagine and we shall have our day and our say over this issue, solely because like this great man portrayed, we surely will NEVER SURRENDER to such a notion of denied democracy

Likewise in my person life I shall too never surrender!

Yes Personal Development unit 4 finished today, ready for submission at the beginning of April!

Now anybody reading this may think I am a diligent student getting ahead because I am a swot or something similar, truth be told though I am under pressure re the Maths and two other German courses and now need the Personal Development completed to devote all my efforts to the rest.

I have but 11 days to submit my next TMA 01 ii and it is hard and a half, not that it is not going to be completed, as it is, it is just I have never achieved Maths to this level before, nor in fact tackled such a high level of Maths, at school or college.

Thus I am under pressure a bit, especially considering the work load and prep work for the German G.C.S.E. which has exams only three months away, and the Rundblicks of which I am up to date but in danger of slipping back as I devote the hours to completion of the Maths.

I think I may have taken on too much this year, but I will not surrender I shall proceed doing as always the best I can within reason.

Thus is my status to date. updates as an when.

Onwards, tired but still upwards God willing.

Recent picture of the lunar eclipse, this should be my picture up however I had terrible cloud cover and as such I have had to now borrow this stunning photo.

Unit 2 Personal Development complete signed sealed completed dusted graded passed but as of yet undelivered

Still I passed it which is all.

Have my first Tutorial for Maths this week coming and had a Rundblicks German last night, so all is good and still on going.

Plenty of Maths to catch up with, plenty of German to catch up with, but I have 12 clear days to play with which is everything currently as I am very tired.

Onwards and Upwards..................as always

More illness, 2008 year of ill health at least for me

Gordy Brown the Stalinist and there is so much truth in this it worries me for the future of our non stalinist nation

What a strange start to this year, two months in and twice I have been ill, I cannot begin to explain that I no longer have time for illness, but my studies are still going ahead to some degree despite all this coughing, hacking and general feeling of sickness.

I have missed yet another Online Lyceum German because simply I was just too ill.

But tonight I have managed to catch up all German GCSE homework (hausaufgaben) and also am two thirds through the Personal development which is due in soon

However I do have to catch up the Rundblicks and get on top of the Maths and I have to do it soon, so fingers crossed I am rid of this damned flu in time for it all.

Nothing else to report but will update as an when......

Latest Rundblicks TMA result

Our Arthur and the Lady of the lake, such is the valuable myths and legends of our islands, such is part of what is at stake and what then must be defended against all threats

such is the reason to war if need be.

82% for my last T.M.A. which is great with me, some silly errors towards the end of the submission, but I lay that at a tired pressurised brain, more than lack of knowledge in the language.

Am I happy...Yes I am.

The next one will be a higher score, back to near the 90 odd percent of last time, that much I will aim for.

No other news to date so onwards and still upwards...till next time then

Maths Done, German Gcse caught up with, Rundblicks up to date

Old Harry Rocks, stunning by all accounts if captured with the sun striking off of it, I shall know maybe this year if I can visit Dorset, and if I do Pictures better than this I hope to capture.

Durdle Door, another place listed to see on my future holiday to Dorset, such amazing beauty created by the elements and rock conditions, is not life just amazing in every single sense?

A simply stunning camera is the S8000, not disimilar from my already beloved S5600 which has stood me in great stead and I shall never be parted from, but what a great upgrade this would make.

With impressive 18X zoom out, Seriously Phallic but seriously quality for wildlife photography for a low end budget, this is definitely the next camera for me.

Is there nothing I cannot do?

Well in all honesty it has been flat out at least four hours a night to play catch up and I feel like it has been a struggle.

So lesson learned is to never let things get so behind again (though not really my fault being ill etc)

But importantly I am now back on track so to speak and shall continue.

Well my youngest returns to her Uni tomorrow and My eldest is finally coming round to maybe doing her own degree in child care or such like, even My Wife is contemplating some form of education to enhance the future prospects of us all.

Thus all is ok (I never say right in case I jinx it all)

Onwards and upwards......the future looks great

Ps. The next camera aimed for is the Fuji S8000 with 18X zoom capabilities (Savings already being reassigned for it)

Simply put it is fantastic and I enclose a picture above to show that aspect of it.

Maths two sixths complete

Quite possibly one of the greatest movies made that appeals to my sense of butchering Persians and their blasphemous death cultist descendants, we need a latter 300 to show our lazy liberal ineffective and weak western world what really must be done!

Yes the TMA MST121 10 has questions 1 and 2 (of 6) answered to the best of my ability, I aim to complete the rest towards the end of the week

I look forward to submitting the final draft however I as of yet do not know who exactly my tutor is, nor do I know any tutorial dates

I hope this information comes forth soon.

I am 100% caught up on all the German work from Rundblicks to the GCSE and I confess to being tired playing catch up with it all, however it is now done, I just have to keep on top of these things and pray to god I get no more illness please.

Update on the eczema, I had to attend the Doctors today as it played a merry dance of itching and then hurting most of last night, I slept pitifully as a result of this, hence the trip to the doctors.

The end result is I have a steroidal cream plus a moisturizer to keep the skin obviously moisturized, I am hopeful it should be cleared up within a week, the Doctor reckons for two at most. We shall see.

No other news to date, updates as and when and onwards and upwards as per usual

Submitted Maths MST121 CMA 51

Where is the Churchill of our time? To see us back on track to being Great again? All we have is cowards, deceivers and thieves in power these days sadly.

Well that is the first CMA for this maths submitted, this CMA does not count towards the end result, but I have still given it my very best shot and I fingers crossed believe I did not do too badly.

Next submission is the TMA, to which I have after reading ahead realise is going to be

1) time consuming
2) brain straining as it is complex (to me at least)

However I shall do it and submit it within time (all due in for the 30th of this month and the TMA has to be sent)

Two days now and the web site inclusive of my tutors details and tutorials will become available online, I cannot wait to actually begin this in earnest.

Other news is I am also playing catch up on German GCSE homework, plus Rundblicks (in time for the next online which is the 17th) again I am pacing myself with a view to completion of these tasks within a reasonable time frame, I can only do what I can do period.

Onwards and upwards hopefully.

Submitted Rundblicks German TMA02 at last

The uphill battle begins in earnest,

Currently playing catch up with so many things, most noticeably the education related things

as such I am quite proud to say TMA02 Rundblicks is now in, before the dead line thankfully.

I now have to start the Maths, start the Intermediate Certificate In Personal Development and finalise the very last Homework for the GCSE German due in this Tuesday

am I confident? No not really, but I will endeavor to do my best in achieving the needed outcomes

whether I can or not is yet to be shown, but onwards and upwards ......

NOCN Intermediate Certificate in Personal Development

A traditional Father Christmas, thankfully devoid of the Coca-cola added colour. Making it a real Christmas!

Yes today I attended the initial meeting and thus signed up for this course, parting with £25 as I did

It looks like something worthwhile and will make a good edition to my C.V. so I consider it a must have really and thus I shall attempt to attain

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Maths M.S.T.121, Well now I also finally sat down and looked at the relevant parts sent to me recently.....I believe I shall devote next tuesday evening to exploring it fully with a view to making the initial start towards the first T.M.A. and C.M.A
This must be scheduled properly as I have the Youngest Daughter returning home from Uni as well so studying space is thus limited but I must forge on as I have more than these to hand in in January 2008

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rundblicks must also take priority over some other events, after checking the calender I am one thema behind and again have submissions for January

it is time To organize and prioritize I think, I shall naturally get my Birthday out of the way before I start

onwards and despite January now being busy study wise....Upwards

P.s. I have just found out upon completion of my German certificate at the O.U. I can officially add letters to after my Name, thus I shall be blah blah CGO

How brilliant that made me feel I cannot seriously describe, however it is a nice potential future I feel

Results oh yeah

One year on I am tired, fatter (slightly thanks to quitting the cigarettes) healthier (see across) and honestly a lot happier with my self made lot than I was previously

2007 has been a good year, I have seen much of great beauty and experienced a great many things most will never even try, and I believe in it I have grown as a person as a soul, to 2008 and beyond I look forward now, for a first time in a long time...........

Santa Claus is coming to town, bringing guns and shooting you down.....Futurama Santa, now there's a story for the kids

My little man is as well as he is ever going to be thanks be to god and a decent vet.

MU120 final result A PASS : 73%

Which given everything inclusive of the huge gap in my maths education is simply brilliant and I am incredibly happy with it as a result
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rundblicks German T.M.A. result : 93%

First T.M.A. and a great result overall again very very pleased

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update on Sweep

Vets today and he is as healthy as he ever has been, possible correction of the head tilt over a longer time, or worse case no correction now at all.

Whatever he is a well dog who has already adapted to this disability and he is loved and should thus have the best possible life despite his head tilt.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Onwards and upwards as we speed towards my Birthday unchecked and seemingly finally making progress in my life personally at last.

What a simply great year this has been, yes health wise I could even cite now the degree of pain in my legs slowly fatiguing me beyond a point of exhaustion as being of concern, however I cannot complain or demand any more of the health service, they have utterly failed in their care of duty towards me and I shall rather endure the pain than be for one second longer a practice guinea pig for their inept ways.

Thus 2008 looms over the horizon but getting bigger every day, and it promises to be a great year, possibly as great as this one, I finally look forward, tinged with my usual pessimism because I await some other trial for me and mine to face.

All currently though is calm and for that I thank God.

Update for the Abseil

Just in case it was all forgotten he is me doing my bit for charity

Well ok now finally the red cross have cashed my cheque, raised a grand total of £122 for them and had what I can only still say was a brilliant day, apparently I now qualify for a letter and t-shirt which is cool

next year I may look at another stunt type thing for a charity as of yet unknown

but for this year I am happy at what I have done

all is good in the world though tonight no Rundblicks German Tutorial, which is a shame I do enjoy that online Lyceum

anyway updates as and when.....

T.M.A.01 RUNDBLICKS submitted

Yes I am feeling festive, so here is a Robin Redbreast to capture all that is to come

Well yes, ok it was early but hey my head hurt from a night of online German so I thought whilst in the mood get it done

and thus I did and all is now calm, though my head still hurts, a small price to pay for the learning experience, am I getting there........with a little confidence I will, I hope.

Went Swimming for the second time this week and enjoyed the freedom of the water, also found they have a steam room which felt great.

Generally life is sweet, just got to chill down more and it should all be ok.

Till the next update, onwards, forwards and upwards for no other reason than we can....
